Award-winning actor to star on stage

Navid Mohammadzadeh is to star in 'Les Misérables' musical play by Hossein Parsaei.

The play is based on legendary French novelist Victor Hugo’s masterpiece 'Les Misérables'.

Mohammadzadeh has previously acted in 'Oliver Twist' also directed by Parsaei.

‘Les Miserables’ depicts the story of Jean Valjean who is imprisoned for 19 years.

After his release by Jean Javert , the officer in charge of the prison workforce,  Valjean promptly breaks parole but later uses money from stolen silver to reinvent himself as a mayor and factory owner.

Javert vows to arrest Valjean and send him to prison again. Eight years later, Valjean becomes the guardian of a child named Cosette after her mother’s death but Javert pursues him firmly.

Born in 1986, Navid Mohammadzadeh started his acting career by appearing in Rouhollah Hejazi's 'Among the Clouds' (2008).

Mohammadzadeh mainly has acted in movies and he has been in only two TV productions which are the series 'A Share for a Friend' Masoud Atyabi  (2012) and the TV movie 'Our Story, Your Story' Reza Beheshti (2012). 

Some of his cinematic works have been Mohammad Shirvani 's 'Fat Shaker' (2012), '13' directed by Houman Seyyedi (2013), 'Nahid'  also by Houman Seyyedi (2014), 'The Sound of the Fury' by Houman Seyyedi (2015), 'Life and a Day' directed by Saeed Roustayi (2015).

The actor has received several awards and nominations including Best actor Award from 2015 Bratislava International Film Festival.

His performance in the movie 'Life and a Day' directed by Saeed Roustayi (2015) won him a Crystal Simorgh for Best Actor in a supporting role.

In 2017, he grabbed the Best Actor Award for starring in 'No Date, No Signature' directed by Vahid Jalilvand (2016).
